The breakfast in the morning was above my expectations, and the woman at the front desk that greeted us was beyond friendly and helpful. It was my first time in Halifax, and we had to drive a decent distance to get to bars/restaurants, and the front desk attendant in the morning wasn't as good. The room was neat and tidy, but not as modern as I had expected. Overall, excellent stay!

Positives: Excellent customer service!

Negatives: Location, not as "modern" as expected.

Mostly it was a great place to stay, met most of our needs.

The hotel is a very nice one, close to the highway and large enough room but the ants in the room made the stay uncomfortable.

Positives: The bedding was wonderful but had difficulty with ants.

Negatives: There were ants in the room.

The front desk agents were especially helpful with directions and providing us with a battery charger for when our car wouldn't start in the morning!

I arrived late at 11:30 PM, finding a friendly and easy check in with my reservation. The room was clean and offered the conveniences of a refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV, and decent space. Breakfast of breads, bagels, cereal, boiled eggs, toaster waffles, fruit, coffee, tea, juices, was a big plus for me.

Positives: Comfortable room, friendly staff, and free breakfast.

Negatives: Location was a bit removed from the airport.

The hotel staff are well trained and extremely accommodating Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and the room amenities are excellent. Room included free breakfast and free web access adding to the great value. Would stay again and recommend to anyone traveling in the Halifax area.
