Dr. Corbett's Inn, Port Hope, Ontario

Originally built as a main branch of The Bank of Upper Canada in 1857 this unique 10 room historic Inn is situated in the heart of downtown Port Hope. It is named after Dr. Corbett who lived at this address as well as had his professional offices here. He also brought hydo electricity to Port Hope by buiding a dam in the north end of town, which still bears his name today.

Dr. Corbett's Inn a 10 room Inn has all modern conveniences with the charm of antiques and individually appointed rooms. Also located at the Inn is "The Palm" restaurant with full dining facilities. Newly opened it boasts a Casablanca decore with "Food with Flair". A friendly and accommodating host, owner David Henderson welcomes each guest and often appears as "Rick" for the evening meal.

Whether on business or on a romantic getaway Dr. Corbett's Inn has something for everyone. Packages are available for theatre as well as dining. Rooms vary with 2 doubles, double and queen, queen and king beds; some fireplaces and a jaccuzi.
