Red Clay Cottage, Wood Island, Prince Edward Island

Red Clay is a new, deluxe, housekeeping cottage located in the quiet coastal community of Wood Islands on the southeast tip of Prince Edward Island. Just a short walk from the doorstep reveals a spectacular view of the Northumberland Strait, a beautiful white sand beach and one of the best swimming areas in P.E.I.

The cottage has bright, cheerful rooms, all of which have wood floors and are tastefully decorated with new furnishings. The dining, living, and kitchen areas are an open-concept design with a cathedral ceiling.Red Clay has two large bedrooms: one with queen size bed, and the other with two single beds. The bathroom is equipped with both a bathtub and shower. The front deck features a screen-enclosed room, great for out-of-doors dining, relaxing with a good book, or watching the fishing boats and ferries come and go.

Red Clay is equipped with a microwave, fridge, electric stove, propane barbeque, television, and VCR. Movies, books and board games are also provided. All bedding and towels are included. Nearby Northumberland Provincial Park is equipped with laundry facilities. A picnic table and lawn furniture are also on the premises.
