We first visited this establishment when our children were 5 and 9. it was between Christmas and New Year for cross country skiing. we felt right at home. each visit thereafter was like coming home. would recommend for a quiet unassuming getaway any time of the year.
Positives: Very friendly and quiet
Negatives: Frozen in time

the Innkeeper is so accommodating and the shag carpeting can be overlooked for the very reasonable price
