Ignore that other idiot! This campground isn't bad at all. We stayed there with 2 other camper units. One was a 28' C class, one was a 30' A class and our own was a 35' A class. We had plenty of room and the spots were about the right distance apart. Oh about the train noise, you're just off the Trans Canada so any campground by that highway will sound the same. Truth is we hardly even noticed the trains in our 4 day stay.

Lots of trees, has cabins, tent area, 30' swimming pool (3' deep at one end to 4' deep at the other), playground, showers and a small store at office. Owner went out of his way to make our stay better.

One water station that he charged $2 a fill. Dumping station cost $6. Wood was $6 a bundle. A stay was $21 a day with power. Overall, 3.5 out of 5.

Only 2 complaints.... Have a second road to access or exit campground (hard to get by other units with one access road being a 1/4 mile long) and they should have had water and a hose for better clean ups at the dumping station.

Are you kidding, do not include requests for bookings???? I wouldn/'t stay here if they paid me to again. Such small lots , loud train noises all night and dirty washrooms. Not worth it at ALL! What a dive, no wonder the owner is nice, he';s trying to get as many suckers there as possible. Believe me, not worth the trip at all. Stay at home and camp out on the busiest street and it will still be quieter. Trailer trash outlet.

We stayed at this campgroung last year and it was the new owners first year. We had never been there before and I ended up on this site looking to see if I could make a reservation for this year. I have two younger kids and they had a good time and so did I. There a few corners that are a little tight but the owner is very nice and I am sure he would do his best to find you a spot. My brother manager too park his 30 foot bumper hitch on a long box. I will be going again
