No longer a secret, Canmore's Georgetown Inn has been welcoming guests to the Canadian Rockies since 1993 by providing outstanding mountain accommodation just minutes from Banff National Park.

The classic Tudor English exterior with its patios and English gardens will immediately beckon you inside. Here you will discover 20 beautifully appointed guest rooms, each one unique in its appearance and décor. Your comfort is paramount at the Georgetown Inn, and we offer amenities to make you feel right at home. We hope to make your Canmore vacation the best it can be.

In the morning wander down to our Dining Room for breakfast to start your day in the Rockies. Spend the day exploring Canada's Mountain Parks, a UNESCO world heritage site. In the evening join other guests and relax by the fireplace in the Miner's Lamp Pub. A tribute to Canmore's past, the lounge is decorated as an English country pub with memorabilia tucked into every corner. With romantic getaway packages and several add-on options, The Georgetown Inn is a comfortable Canmore accommodation perfect for exploring the beauty of the Canadian Rockies. Approximately 100 kms (60 miles) west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada on the Trans Canada Highway Highway #1A ( 1 hour 15 minute drive).

Victoria Room - 7 units - Whatever the occasion, Victoria Rooms are sure to please. A tribute to Queen Victoria (1819-1901), who has had the longest reign to date of all British Monarchs. Our most popular guest rooms are designed with an abundance of features. Each one with a spacious sitting area, comfortable armchairs, bathrobes and anchored by a gas or electric fireplace. The luxurious king bed is adorned with an abundance of pillows. The highlight is the 2 person jetted tub within the room, which is fit for royalty. Perfect for an anniversary, honeymoon or an excuse for a romantic getaway. Maximum 2 persons.

Albert Room - 2 units - The Albert Rooms are dedicated to Prince Albert, who was married to Queen Victoria in 1840. The Albert guest rooms feature a king bed, sitting area, with electric fireplace, writing desk, 1 person jetted tub in the bathroom, bathrobes and vaulted ceiling. The wet bar with mini fridge and coffee maker is ideal for storage of beverages and snacks. Perfect for extended stays and for those who require extra space within their guest room. Maximum 2 persons.

Elizabeth Room - 6 units - The Elizabeth Rooms are glorious and refined much like Queen Elizabeth I (1537-1603). Decor is alluring and elegant. Each guest room has one queen bed, comfortable armchairs and gas or electric fireplace. Maximum 2 persons.

William Room - 3 units - These guest rooms are spacious with a sense of purpose, much like William the Conqueror. William I (1027 or 1028 - 1087) became king of England after his victory at one of England's most famous battles, The Battle of Hastings, in 1066. Each room has 2 queen beds, comfortable sitting area with either a gas or electric fire and writing desks. These guest rooms are ideal for people requiring separate beds. Maximum 4 persons.

Louise Room - 1 unit - Dedicated to Princess Louise, the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria and whom the province of Alberta was named (Louise Caroline Alberta). This room has a queen size bed and sitting area. This small but cozy room offers great value for the more budget conscious traveller. Maximum 2 persons

Guestrooms: All guest rooms have individually controlled heat and cooling thermostats with windows that open. Each are equipped with a telephone with data port and a television with a DVD Player, clock radio, and hair dryer. Wireless internet is available throughout the inn. 19 of our rooms come with a fireplace and fridge.
