Very clean hotel. Staff are friendly. Safe location. Big rooms.

Positives: The decor.

Negatives: Paying for parking. Could have had a fridge and microwave in room for use.

Great location with many restaurants nearby. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The facilities could use a face lift if they want to stay competitive.

Positives: Staff was excellent. They treat everyone like a royalty.

Negatives: The facilities could use some renovation. The carpet in our room looked old.

I
was greatly disappointed starting from the old musty smell in the room to the fact that we have a baby and needed some Ice to keep milk for her bottle the Ice machines were broken on my floor and on the floor above and below so we asked for a fridge which they delivered we put our milk in later that night we realized the fridge had not been working, we went to the pool broken, our porch door was drilled shut because the patio is falling apart, it has a nice lobby thats it the rooms are horrible.

Positives: Lobby.

Negatives: Room broken pool Ice machines on a few floors were.

Shortly after arriving I needed to print a few documents, but the business center was closed. However, they have a free computer area with a printer just off the lobby that I was able to use. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Only complaint was that the pool and the hot tub closed early (10pm).

Positives: The hotel was very well maintained with friendly staff.

Negatives: The pool and hot tub closed too early.

Location was decent, bed was comfortable. I would not recommend the restaurant, as the food was just adequate and the service lacking.

Positives: The bed was comfortable.

We have loved staying at Westins in the past, but it was disappointing to see that it was not up to the usual standards because it was in the process of renovation. Fortunately, the friendly and attentive staff compensated for much of that. I was disappointed also, that the rugs in the rooms were old and stained in areas. If that is changed I wouldn't hesitate to go back. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Getting into Toronto was not inconvenient at all.

Positives: The people and the service were excellent.

Negatives: It was in the process of renovation.

It will probably be a four star hotel when it is finished with its construction however at this time would not recommend.

Positives: The bed was very comfortable.

Negatives: The hotel was under construction leaving limited hours in the restaurants and the bar was terrible.

The location of the hotel is on busy street and it is very hard to go in and out. The hotel store is trying to rip us off for the currency exchange - $1 CDN for $0.80 US.

Positives: Nicely decorated room.

I know it comes with the territory but to be charged for everything like internet and $11 for self parking in a surface lot is annoying. That being said the hotel interior is beautiful with very attractive, well appointed and comfortable rooms. A decent price for the hotel overall, although the lack of an indoor swimming pool decreases the value.

Positives: Very attractive, well laid out room.

Negatives: No indoor swimming pool or Jacuzzi.

Fantastic service, the Japanese restaurant is a must! Close to all Toronto areas - we used public transport to get around and it was so easy and efficient. Couple of shopping malls a short bus ride away (bus no 25) - same bus gets you to the Science Centre which is worth a visit. Also have bar / diners in close proximity to hotel if you fancy eating out.

Positives: Good range of restaurants, lovely staff, and easy transport systems nearby.

Negatives: Decor is a tad tired but still looks good for the grade.

The hotel is right on the outskirts of Toronto, so not much traffic and very little noise. When staying here pay for the parking yourself ($6) using the machines in the lot. Do not register your car with the front desk, they charge $11 per day. Try to request a floor higher than 4 as the lower floors do not have a view.

Positives: Bed was very comfortable.

Negatives: You have to pay for parking.
