The price may be good, but the location is less than desirable. On the south end of town, you have to travel to any decent restaurants or to shopping or parks. The rooms were okay--but don't settle .....

Positives: The evening clerk went out of her way to accommodate us by providing a new room when our AC failed to work.

Negatives: It's old, pretty rundown and in a not so desirable location.

Hotel, restaurant was good. Harbor view was limited to 2 small windows (rather misleading advertisement. Hot Jacuzzi was not functioning, not the hotels fault as they were awaiting parts. However, .....

Days Inn Nanaimo is really close to the highway, so I recommend asking for a room away from the street. Reasonably good accommodation for the star level. Kind of pricey for the location but my room .....
