Nice, clean hotel and close to the Casino. The area around the hotel is lit up and seems safe to walk if your out at night.
Positives: Within walking distance to the Casino.
Negatives: The beds were very uncomfortable.

The hotel's location is very convenient to all the downtown attractions. However, the lobby had an odor of cigarettes and wet dogs. The hotel staff (and the people of Windsor) were not very nice, maybe it was just the fact of Canada Vs. America. I will not be returning to our neighbor to the North anytime soon! You can have it.
Positives: Leaving it.
Negatives: The staff was not very friendly.

This is more like a 2 or 2.5 star hotel due to the poor appearance of the lobby and surrounding interior on the main floor, no restaurant, shared breakfast room with Hilton, washroom was a little dingy.
Positives: Friendly staff, good air conditioning, and beautiful location.
Negatives: Rundown washroom, shower head too strong, local calls not free, shared lobby and breakfast with Hilton, rundown main floor.

Always friendly staff. Meticulously clean rooms. The adjustable mattress beds are a nuisance.
Positives: Very convenient downtown location.
Negatives: Off site parking is ratty looking.

The parking situation was poor at the hotel. The rooms themselves were clean but the carpets in the hallways in public areas were well worn. Location of the hotel was somewhat unsavoury. Staff was attentive and helpful. I don't feel the hotel lived up to the 3 Star billing at best it was 2star.
Positives: Free internet.
Negatives: The parking was offside.

We had been there a few years ago and it was excellent. It just seems to need some TLC. On the whole it was fine. We also would have liked a better view.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Looked tired. Ice machines didn't work on several floors.

Great place, really clean and the pool was fantastic. Parking in the parking garage located behind the hotel was time consuming and was a disappointment as it took us 25 minutes to check out, most of which was spent going to retrieve the van and waiting for a spot in front of the hotel to open up so I could pack. With that said, I would definitely stay there again as it was very clean.
Positives: Everything about our room was clean and fresh!
Negatives: Parking and the front desk staff who didn't know much about the area.

I checked in and did not stay. The room was very outdated with chipped furniture and old carpet. The lobby and entrance is in terrible condition. The parking garage is not attached and isn't secure. It is a public garage and costs an additional 15.00 a night. The hotel is in a rundown part of downtown and I did not feel safe walking from the parking garage to my hotel. I was also worried about the security of my car and it's contents. I left the hotel for these reasons and checked into a different hotel.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: This hotel is run down and the parking lot is insecure and not attached to the hotel in a run down section of town.

The room had a spectacular view of the river and the Detroit skyline. It will cost you an extra $20 per night to have the room with a view. Also, when you check in, you will be informed that it will cost an additional $10 per night to park your car in the garage across the street from the hotel. Also, next to the coffee pot was a bottle of water that we thought was complimentary. It cost $2 to use the water. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but beware of the hidden charges.

Positives: The view, the staff, and comfortable bed
Negatives: $20 per night extra for room with view; $10 per night to park.

This hotel is centrally located but I as a female was not comfortable walking at night. It is in front of the bus station. The smoking rooms have not been updated and even when asked to have the room fogged to remove some of the smoke the smell was unbearable. It has even permeated my briefcase. The smoking rooms need to have the carpet removed and replaced with tile and have a window to open. There are no fans in the washroom. Microwaves and fridges are usually standard in hotels now but not here.
Positives: Front desk was very helpful.
Negatives: Windows don't open and

I loved this hotel, my boyfriend and I went to Windsor to hit up the bars at night, and we were within about 2-3 blocks of most of the bars. It was the perfect location for our trip.
Positives: Hot tub was amazing.
Negatives: Some small imperfections in the hotel room, (small hole in wall, unmatching paint on ceiling).

Entrance on Riverside Dr. was full of cars left by hotel guests. After we took our luggage to<BR/>the room, the staff could not locate the owners of the 2 vehicles blocking us in. After a 20 minutes wait we had to drive over the curb to get our car out.
Positives: Beautiful view of the river.
Negatives: Parking too far away, walkway not heated.

When I got in the room, it had not been cleaned and I was weary and disappointed. However, they quickly changed my room, provided a staff member to assist me and the second room was nicer and was to my original expectations. After that, the experience was pleasant.
Positives: Nice room, and great view.
Negatives: The first room I was assigned had not yet been cleaned.
