I would definitely stay here again.

Positives: It's modern style and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Hotel was nice, good location, friendly staff. We really didn't spend much time in the hotel, as we had a busy weekend of seeing friends and family. Place was under construction at the time, but didn't bother us at all. Looks like it's shaping up to be quite a nice place. I'd definitely stay there again.

Positives: Very convenient location. Very accessible.

Negatives: Hotel was under construction, so esthetically it was not so pleasing. Looks like it will be nice when it's done though

Food wasn't all that great in the restaurant but plenty of restaurants not too far away.

Great hotel. Very clean and well maintained. However, if you expect newspapers delivered in the morning, this is not the hotel for you.

Positives: The location relative to all the main attractions in Ottawa including the parliament buildings, the Arts centre and the Byward Market.

Negatives: The pool and spa were closed for an extensive period for "cleaning and ugrade"

I asked them to clean bar fridge of last person's items and after they cleaned, there were still a few items left. Hard to get to because of one way streets and not knowing area, could not fine entrance to their parking site, but parked across road.

Compared to other similar hotels that I have stayed at, this hotel did not meet my expectation. Hotel staff was very pleasant and friendly.

For such a basic 3.5*-4* hotel, I can't think of any problem areas. Good pool/spa. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Amenities were basic but what there is looks clean and stylish. Excellent location 5 mins walk to markets, restaurants and attractions. Basic hotel quality done very well.

Positives: Clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Central location - market, restaurants, attractions. Pool.

Great location only a few blocks from parliament hill, Rideau canal and Byward district (restaurants/shops). Small hotel rooms with a modern design and efficient use of limited space. Very attractive courtyard on the fifth floor, great to sit down and have a drink at. Restaurant has an affordable and high quality breakfast buffet. Staff was knowledgeable, polite, friendly. Highly recommended for someone who wants to see the sights in Ottawa but does not have a vehicle.

Positives: Modern design in hotel rooms, efficient use of small space.

Negatives: Hot tub was luke-warm. Sound proofing between rooms could be better.

We were traveling with our two daughters (2 and 6). We found this hotel very beautiful, comfortable and recommended it. This stylish hotel has everything for the business travelers and the families feel very welcome too ! Our daughters even received a stuffed animal at our arrival. We also had fun in the pool.

Positives: The staff was very friendly. The hotel was well decorated and very clean. There was beautiful flowers outside.

The location was perfect. We were extremely close to the Rideau centre, Market & Parliament buildings. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

Usual, efficient Novotel standard. Comfortable and convenient location. Only hotel we found in Eastern Canada with computer available to all-greatly appreciated! And free.

Good hotel, excellent location, small rooms and illumination is nice but not enough, the hotel didn't work at the time we were there and it was a pain going thru the stairs (staff elevator was packed).

The location of the hotel is ideal being within walking distance to all major Ottawa attractions. The room we stayed in was large with both a bedroom and sitting area. I particularly appreciate the modern-contemporary decor; something I would not normally expect from a family hotel. I was very disappointed with the level of service we received from the hotel staff. They were not knowledgeable of such basics as how to access the parking garage attached to the hotel from the hotel. We requested a wake up call but did not receive one. Upon conferring this to the desk clerk upon checkout the response received was "Oh. That's not good." I would have expected some kind of apology.

Positives: The rooms were large and modern at a great price.

Negatives: The hotel staff were not knowledgeable and had no customer service orientation.

Overall, the hotel was well situated and convenient if you looking to be near the various attractions of the city. The room was clean and well maintained however the room itself was somewhat cramped for 2 people. Bathroom was the highlight of the room with quality and cleanliness appreciated.

Negatives: The room itself was rather cramped for the star level.
