Bold Bluff Retreat, Salt Spring Island, British Columbia
Soak up the beauty and bounty of nature while living in comfort, with a touch of elegance and charm.
Net fish off the 100 foot deep water dock, watch birds, seals and river otters, hike the mossy bluff with spectacular ocean views, walk along the forest trails breathing deeply the fresh scent of fir and cedar, listen to the sweet songs of woodland birds and frogs, explore the abundant beach life, or simply curl up by the fire, enjoying one of our many books.
Even though Bold Bluff has no roads and is reached only by boat or seaplane, it is on Salt Spring Island. The property faces the steep, forested cliffs of Vancouver Island across from Sansum Narrows on the southwest corner of Salt Spring Island. It is one of the last undeveloped areas of the island, and is surrounded by 2,600 acres of park and protected lands. You can hike out to your car, canoe or kayak, or take the Water Taxi that we provide for your convenience.
The Garden Cottage - Charming 2 bedroom cottage tucked into a beautiful landscaped garden and orchard just steps away from the ocean.
Salty's Cabin - Perched on mossy rocks, the cabin is isolated, utterly beautiful, with high tide coming in under your deck.
