The Harwood House B&B/Inn was built in 1923 for Dr. Frank "Pa" Wheelock, the Provost at Acadia University, in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The Wheelock family lived here for some 30 years before selling to Freda and David Davison in 1954. Dr. Davison was a family doctor in Wolfville for many years and assisted in the delivery and growth of the population of this small town. The Davisons were much loved and highly respected by the folks of Wolfville and even to this day the property is mostly referred to as 'Dr. Davison's House' by the local community. Harwood House Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located off Main Street , Wolfville adjacent to Acadia University. We are a short walk away from superb dining and specialty shops in town.

Harwood House Bed & Breakfast has three large guest bedrooms that are tastefully decorated. All have queen size beds and private bathrooms (two of these ensuite). The names of the rooms relate to different trails throughout Nova Scotia; Evangeline, Sunrise and Glooscap.
Glooscap is a bright bedroom that offers a queen size bed, and private 4-pc bathroom across the hall (we do provide bathrobes for your convenience). This room has its own CBTV, electric fireplace and access to high speed internet.
Sunrise has a fantastic view of the garden and the decor is warm and cozy. You may wake up to the happy chirping of chickadees with sunlight filtering through the pine trees outside your window. Along with the ensuite bathroom this room has a comfortable sitting area for reading or a game of cribbage. High speed internet access is available in this room.
Evangeline Suite consists of a large main bedroom with queen size bed and ensuite bathroom plus a lovely bright sunroom complete with bed chesterfield for one extra person. The sunroom has CBTV and high speed internet access for guests convenience.
