Oceanstone Inn and Cottages are wiithin walking distance is beautiful Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia with its lighthouse, quaint fish stores and wharves. The surrounding Preservation area offers 1000 acres of natural seaside land with walking trails leading to breathtaking views, crashing surf, and unique maritime vegetation.
Our Dining Room features fresh local seafood, and freshly-picked produce from our own organic gardens. While there is generally a reservations waiting list of people who want to dine with us, we offer priority to our guests. In addition to the above menus we offer several exiting options that can be served on the beach, in a cottage, on an island, off site, or wherever you please!

Nine cottages and the Main Inn. We have 23 rooms in our lodge and cottages combined: 12 have private baths, 11 have shared baths. Of the 23 bedrooms, 6 have a second bed in them. 6 of the cottages have comfortable Simmonds hide-a-beds.

The Main Lodge houses our dining room (operates seasonally), our front office, and our Great Room, where guests are free to mingle in front of the fire, to rest, or to read any of the many interesting books on our shelves. The Great Room has a stunning view of the open Atlantic Ocean. With a private deck shaped like the prow of a boat, the Prow (room 6 suite) has a waterview and overlooks the cottages below. The private entrance has a wheelchair access.
