Bow View Lodge offers a superior experience amongst Banff hotels. We are perfectly located, just two-and-a-half blocks from downtown Banff, a perfect Canadian Rockies hotel. Shopping, dining and entertainment are only a short walk away! Bow View Lodge is also the only hotel located directly beside the Bow River. A tree-lined path will guide you to exceptional views of the mountains that surround us.

Bow View Lodge is affiliated with Banff Park Lodge Resort Hotel & Conference Centre which is conveniently adjacent to us. We offer a number of amenities and conveniences to make your stay with us truly enjoyable Canadian Rockies experience.

Our 58 guestrooms are decorated with beautiful, handcrafted solid oak furniture. Each room includes a coffee maker, convenience fridge, cable television, clock radio, direct dial telephone with data-port and voice mail system, a table with two chairs, large dresser, hair dryer, individual climate control, private bathroom with full bath. Rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor have balconies. Ask us about our adjoining rooms.

Choose one of the following styles to fit your needs: 25 Riverview Rooms with either 1 king size bed, 1 queen size bed or 2 double beds. 29 Standard Rooms with either 1 king size bed or 2 double beds. If more space is needed to accommodate those travelling with you, why not choose one of our 3 spacious Family Rooms, which have two separate bedrooms. The 1st bedroom comes with 1queen size bed, sitting area with a sofa hide-a-bed while the 2nd bedroom has 2 double beds.

Location details / directions

Starting at YYC-Calgary International Airport YYC-Calgary International Airport-88mi E When you leave the Calgary International Airport- follow Barlow Trail South until you have passed about four traffic lights or for about 5 km/ 3 miles. Take the exit onto 16th Avenue West- direction to Banff exit is on the right hand side. Follow 16th Avenue West through the city of Calgary. At the west end of Calgary 16th Avenue ends and is now called Highway 1 West. Follow Highway 1 West until you have passed the town of Canmore. You will be required to stop at the Banff National Park gates and obtain a valid park pass. After the Park Gates keep following Highway 1 west. Take the second exit into Banff. This exit is called Banff/Mount Norquay. At the end of the exit- turn left and cross over the highway. After crossing the train tracks and passing the hospital- you will find your first intersection with traffic lights. Make a right hand turn onto Wolf Street. Bow View Lodge will be the hotel on the left side. Please proceed to the main entrance for registration and parking information.
