This is my second review, hopefully my first one is also posted. So Millers charges $3 per person for visitors including new born babies and 86 year old grandmas. These are 2-4 hour visits, no facilities used We paid for 6 x 3 on Friday. Saturday and Sunday visitors we charged $2 per person so I went to the office and talked to the owner. Her response was 'oh, I made a mistake' Saturday and Sunday....with a smug smile on her face. So her is my personal opinion.......if you are a friend or relative of the owner you pay one price but if you are new you pay the higher price. Also, we we not given any receipts so my question is 'are they just pocketing' the cash or are they claiming it is income.....As I stated in my first comment, WE WILL NOT EVER BE BACK AND WHEN ANY OF OUR NEW OR OLD FRIENDS AS ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE THEY WILL GET AN EARFUL. NEVER NEVER WILL WE BE BACK. LB, WPG

Negatives: Charge on price for guests they know and a different price for new people. When confronted, owner just smiled....

Our family tried this campground on a recommendation from friends. We went for the weekend and had a wonderful time. The staff were courteous and professional.

Positives: This campground is very clean. The washrooms and showers are well above the standards of other campgrounds. Our kids loved the pool and playground.

July 2009 - If you enjoy being harassed by the owners and wish to stay in a military campground, this is the campground for you. There are many trailers up for sale here, so that speaks for itself. Mrs. campground owner sits smoking in the office, and has been seen many times yelling at campers in front of other campers. She has no business sense or class. If there is an issue, most mature business owners would speak respectfully and calmly to work out issues. She obviously a very emotionally driven woman. Mr. Campground owner waits and watches for rulebreakers just for the opportunity to flex his muscles and put people in their place.

There are many rules at this campground which include 10km/hour speed limit (if broken by even 5 km/hour you will be hunted down and corrected), pitching a tent on your own property (even if its for kids to play in, rather than sleep in, you will be corrected and warned) having people stay or visit your property (you will receive a visit from the muscle flexer to serve as warning not to break rules). - Just to name a few.

I for one, would prefer to spend my hard earned money in a family friendly campground, rather than a military campground.

I feel sorry for the many campers who are trying to sell their space there. Hopefully the owners can hold back their harassement long enough for potential buyers to look around. That wasn't the case for me.

Couldn't have been better! Fantastic

Positives: Great location, clean, family orientated, great pool, lovely park for little ones/

Negatives: None, except pool could stay open a little longer

Awesome times with friends. Campground was very well kept and the washrooms are always clean! Staff was very helpful and understanding.

Positives: Wireless Internet! Rules are actually enforced which means you can sleep and not worry about the kids getting run over. Everything you need at the store with a very decent arcade & pool.
