The Farmhouse Inn B&B, Canning, Nova Scotia
The Farmhouse Inn is a delightful getaway spot in the historic Annapolis Valley with amenities and personal service you may have thought existed only in a more gracious era. It nestles in the lovely village of Canning, known for its ship building
history.
The Farmhouse Inn fronts Main Street and sits on a gentle knoll shaded
by giant maples. A stately bay window and working fireplace grace the
guest parlour - a cozy, homey room just right for afternoon tea, late
night chats around a crackling fire, or enjoying a good book.
Our famous "Early Bird Room Service" provides complimentary coffee, tea
or juice to your door each morning. Our complimentary full, hot breakfasts are served amidst flowers and good music in our country-elegant dining room, which features a pressed tin ceiling and wide pine floors.
The Inn is located just 15 minutes from the popular Atlantic Theatre Festival and the quaint shops and excellent restaurants of Wolfville, home of Acadia University. From the Inn there is easy access to the famed Bay of Fundy tides, beaches, craft and antique shops, Cape Split hiking, Blomidon Provincial Park and the spectacular "Look Off".
All guests bedrooms and suites have ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, phones, TVs, and VCRs. Most have a 2-person whirlpool tub and/or propane fireplace. Hand-made quilts add colourful down-home charm. Beds include "cannonball" pine king, queen and twin.
