A charming seaside country inn overlooking lush fields and bountiful gardens. A lovingly restored centuryold farmhouse, the Inn tastefully combines old and new. A perfect seaside oasis for visitors to northern Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or New Brunswick.

The inn sits on a knoll overlooking field and sea, a perfect vista for the evening gourmet dinners, which are served each evening by reservation only. The inn is well located, on Nova Scotia's Northumberland Strait, just 15 minutes from Port Elgin, New Brunswick, 25 minutes from Amherst, Nova Scotia and 40 minutes from Confederation Bridge (to P.E.I.).

Fine dining is a hallmark of the Inn and fresh Nova Scotia fare is its specialty. A typical evenings offering could consist of Curried Potato Soup, Salad Greens with Blueberry Vinaigrette, Oven Poached Salmon and Raspberry Mousse & Chocolate Torte. The menu changes every evening, and there's always fresh homemade bread and a selection of quality wines, beers and spirits.

A hearty Canadian breakfast is served daily by reservation at 8:00, 8:30, or 9:00 am in the dining room for inn guests. If you wish breakfast please make your reservations the preceeding evening.

The Beach - the 600 foot beach is just a short walk down the lane and then left along a mowed path across a meadow. At high tide we have the warmest waters north of the Carolinas, at low tide the water can wander out as far as a mile presenting miles of sand flats and explore. Daily high tide tables are available in the rooms.

Acres of lawns, gardens, fields, and forest Quiet and Peaceful, with licensed dining room and beverage service available. Birdwatching - Sandpipers, Blue Herons, Osprey, Ducks, other waterfowl and migratory birds

The Blomidon Inn, is another country inn operated by the Laceby family.
It is an elegantly renovated nineteenth century sea captains mansion featuring 26 private rooms or suites, gourmet cuisine, and 4 acres of lawns and gardens.

Accommodation - The inn has four suites, two junior suites, two guest rooms and three seaside cottages. All are complete with ensuite bath and a panoramic view of the Northumberland Strait, and New Brunswick beyond.

Dinner - At 7:30pm each evening (by advance reservation only) we serve a four course gourmet style meal. Cocktails start at 6:45pm.These four course-gourmet dinners are served every night at 7:30 (by reservation only).

Parking - Free parking is available to our guests on the grounds, with easy access to either the front door, guest rooms and suites.

Children are welcome in all the rooms except for suites, which are unsuitable. Please remember many couples staying at the property are retreating. They are enjoying quiet times alone and away from their own children. Crying babies, recklessness, and excessive noise by both children and adults alike can upset other guests.

Mail & Fax - Fax services and outgoing mail services are available at the Inn.

Beverage Service - Available from 3:00pm until 5:30pm; Our Liquor Licence permits alcoholic beverages not purchased at the inn to be consumed in guest rooms or at the beach picnic tables only. Thank you for your understanding.
