Plantation House Bed & Breakfast, Picton, Ontario
When you arrive at Plantation House, we will welcome you in our gracious foyer. Once you are settled, as you make your way to your guest room, we invite you to take a minute and notice the beauty of our vintage staircase. It is a fine example of the craftsmanship that went into the construction of many period homes in the County. They just don't make homes like this anymore - but you may be starting to notice that we do things just a little bit differently around here. You might even notice the lighting fixture above our staircase, which boasts one of the many dragonfly motifs that you will find throughout Plantation House. Let your mind clear.
Start your day's journey with a balanced, healthy meal planned in consultation with Registered Dietician, Linda McCharles. Enjoy our fresh home baked muffins and fresh fruit salad, as well as that morning's hot item of either Baked French Toast, Lemon-Ricotta Pancakes or Savoury Quiche. Savour every sip of our perfectly blended fair trade coffee or choose from a selection of fine teas or orange juice. If advised in advance, we will do our utmost to accommodate dietary restrictions. We're rather informal here so you can decide if you prefer to be served in the dining room or enjoy your meal on the patio.
Our rooms are designed to comfort and spoil you. Each space is decorated in the inviting and relaxed style which is typical of Prince Edward County. Plush terrycloth robes are standard in every room, and our bed linens consist of handmade quilts and fine 400 thread count 100% cotton sheets. For your comfort and convenience, each room has wireless internet access and central air conditioning. Let your body relax.
