We're conveniently situated in downtown Ottawa ( at 539 Besserer St ), just a short hop east of the downtown core. Some of the fun and interesting things to see and do downtown are to walk along, or skate on, the Rideau Canal, visit our nations Parliament Buildings, bask in the bustling atmosphere of the ByWard Market, or visit one of the many outstanding museums in Ottawa ( and that's not even mentioning the great shopping and restaurants... ).

Avalon offers the traveler a warm and inviting atmosphere in a centrally located, yet quiet and picturesque neighborhood, which is also quite close to beautiful local parks and cycle paths. Our turn-of-the-century home is a cozy mix of traditional and modern furnishings.

We offer free parking, free wireless internet access, and comfy new pillow-top mattresses with fine linens.

We serve a full breakfast with such delights as chocolate-chip buttermilk banana pancakes,eggs benedict, apple-cinnamon buttermilk waffles, and almond-vanilla french toast.
