Our century home, situated on 6 acres of gardens, orchards, woods and waterfront on Lake Katchewanooka, is the perfect bed and breakfast while visiting Lakefield, a richly historical village just north of Peterborough, Ontario. Explore this culturally rich region by foot or by boat from our own dock on the Trent-Severn Waterway.

Just steps from downtown and Lakefield College School, we offer tastefully decorated antique filled rooms, and a guest living room with fireplace. Our home is smoke-free and pet friendly.

We provide full breakfasts in our dining room and invite special requests if made in advance. On beautiful summer mornings take your coffee out to the deck and let the birds welcome you to the day. For dinner you can choose from a range of restaurants in Lakefield or on the lakes in the surrounding area. Peterborough is about a 10 minute drive and offers a full range of dining possibilities.

We have 3 newly renovated bedrooms (one ensuite) in a wing of our home offering privacy and repose after travelling or exploring the area. Enjoy your own company or seek others...it's up to you. Our rooms range in price from $90 (for a room with a double bed and a 2 piece ensuite bathroom) to $130 (for a large room with a sitting area and a queen-size bed).
