The beauty begins long before the 362-vehicle ferry begins its short voyage through fjord-like Howe Sound. From leaving the city to reaching BC Ferries’ scenic Horseshoe Bay terminal, the journey is a moving picture show that continues for the duration of the voyage. But for our Sunshine Coast-bound guests, the magic really begins only when the vessel docks 40 minutes later in Langdale — and the entire peninsula is theirs to explore.

One bed room suites with separate entrance, private sitting room, ensuite bathrooms, fridge, micro Avon, cutlery, dishes, coffee maker, TV/DVD, etc. The choice of either a companionable or completely private stay is entirely at our guests’ own discretion. An expanded, continental breakfast buffet — with generous selections of freshly-baked goods, preserves, fruits, juices and cereals — is offered at guests’ own convenience and may be taken in the company of fellow guests in a communal dining room or in the privacy of one’s own suite.

In addition to the hospitality and comfort that business and leisure guests rightly expect while traveling, Waterfront Hideaway has spa facilities, including a full-size Jacuzzi in a separate glass-fronted annex that affords the same magnificent harbour and mountain views as those enjoyed from the main building.
