From Powelll River you may wish to take BC ferries to Texada Island where you will find A Last Resort Beachfront Cabin perched just above the rocky shoreline in Gillies Bay. Historic Lund is about 40 minute drive where you can explore the Okeover Inlet and take a lunch break at the Laughing Oyster restaurant or take a water taxi to Savary Island, known as the Hawaii of the north. Lund is also the gateway to Desolation Sound and a marine park so there's a hub of activity to enjoy there.
