Had the camping trip of our lives at Twin Shores! Blows any campground out of the water. Was disapointed in provincial and national parks on PEI and took a locals recommendation to camp at Twin Shores. Thank goodness we did! Better and cleaner beach than the National park in Cavendish. Some sites at Twin Shores are extremely private. Open sites have views of the water. We liked their environmentally friendly attitude. Twin Shores has a great recycling center. Staff that goes the extra mile. We had a hitch issue with our trailer and they came to our site to help fix it. Store prices were cheaper than grocery store in town. Best Wi-Fi in the 14 campgrounds we visited this summer. Activites going on all the time. They don't nickle and dime you here, all is included in site price which was cheaper than many local parks. They have a central location which was only an hour from Charlottetown and 20 minutes from Cavendish. We were going to go to New Jersey next summer but changed our minds to come back to Twin Shores instead!

Positives: cleanliness, staff, beach,beach, beach, environmental attitude, central Island location, price

Negatives: The place is so great that it is VERY popular, Lots of people but very quiet after quiet hour. To conserve water they meter the showers which is a positive in my book but some may not like it.

we live on p.e.i.and have alot of beautiful place on the island to spend time with family in the summer, but twin shores is the best experience you'll ever have. it has one of the best beaches, you won't find a campground with so much entertainment for parents & the kids.It "relax heaven"everything is geared for kids so parent can relax, we love it and keep coming back year after year because every experience just gets better & better.check it out you will not be disappointed, you'll be amazed.

Positives: it has a movie theater,that is free, a big bag of popcorn for two bucks a store that even had greco pizza at a reasonable price(thats not expensive like others)cafts and entertainment every evening for kids & adults that are fun.

Negatives: the only thing is you have to pay for using a shower.

My experience, hmmmm... how about the best camping trip my family has ever had. Is that a good enough description of the place?

Positives: As the other poster said, the beach. Lost of activities going on for the whole family. Place goes silent at midnight. Clean restrooms and a staff thats so friendly I want them to work for me.

Negatives: The place is really really big. Not that its a negative but you do need your bike or good walking shoes.
