We recently spent 4 nights at this motel as it was right next to the RV park where our family was holding a large reunion. We booked a "cabin" which we were told had a sitting area (table and chairs 3 feet off the foot of the bed) kitchenette etc. We were very disappointed. The cabin had been renovated a little but the kitchen area was old (sparsely equipped with miss matched dishes), all taps in the unit were reversed, the control for the small bar fridge was broken off and could not be adjusted accurately therefore our drinks, sandwich meat etc alternated between frozen and mildly cold. There was no shower curtain and the bathroom sink was rusted and leaked under the cabinet onto the bathroom floor. We were given two sets of very flimsy towels, and no bath mat. There were only three outlets in the cabin, one in the kitchen area, and two in the remaining part. There was not an outlet in the bathroom. There was no mirror other than in the bathroom, no heat (weather was damp and cool during stay) and no phone or even a small alarm clock. Our stay cost $109 plus tax per night. We were told we would have a continental breakfast included each morning however the first morning the restaurant was closed and we had to eat elsewhere and could not inquire about the shower curtain. We went to the dollar store and purchased a shower curtain. The other mornings a small continental breakfast was available. We had other relatives who booked into the regular motel rooms which were a little newer however each of the three couples paid different rates for their rooms. One $49 +, one $69 + and one $89 + per night. Our cabin was virtually the same size as the regular rooms which had coffee makers and small fridges but cost less.

Our group booked a meal on July 1st (there were approx. 50 of us) and we had pre-arranged a spaghetti/pizza meal which was very good, although the group rate they provided was $20 per person.

We have eaten at the restaurant before this stay and it does have good food. Unfortunately the rooms and general management of the property needs work. It has great potential if effort was made and the location is terrific so would be nice if things were run a little better. All in all it is really no more that a $50 - $75 per night motel as this point,
