The Birmingham Manor is located in the City of Stratford, Ontario Canada, home of the internationally acclaimed Stratford Festival. Theatres, shops, restaurants, and nature paths are all within easy walking distance. Constructed in 1905, as his personal residence, by Colonel John Lant Youngs, a master wood carver, contractor and one-time Mayor of Stratford, Ontario, the home boasts of well-proportioned principal rooms enhanced by quarter-cut oak woodwork with fine detailing in the fireplaces, a grand entry hall and a magnificent staircase with a Juliet balcony.
Your hosts, Anthony and Mimi Vivona, have cultivated a home of quiet and graceful elegance. Whether you choose to enjoy your full gourmet breakfast or afternoon tea in the dining room or on the veranda; lounge in the relaxed atmosphere of the den or delight in the formality of the parlor, you are made to feel right at home. Each bedroom is air-conditioned and well-appointed for your comfort and each has access to its own bath for your privacy.
The Sandringham Room, the Hampton Court Room and the Balmoral Room have private attached bathrooms and the Windsor Room has the large master bathroom down the hall.
