We arrived, checked in and had to pay for our entire stay up front, (5 Days) which I found a little odd, but figured ok. Went to the room and was hit with a heat wave.....very hot. I looked for air conditioning and when I couldn't find it, went back to the office to enquire if there was any air conditioning and how I would operate it. The manageress/owner was repulsed at my question and told me there was no such thing and that there was nothing wrong with the room and it was NOT HOT! I responded to say it was and I was not able to bear the heat because I have MS---I was cut off at this stage and screamed at by the manageress that she did not care what my problem was and that I should use the fan provided. I tried to respond, but again she cut me off and screamed at me that I was "Trouble Maker" and she knew this from my first email to her! I then told her to give me back the money I had just paid her and I would leave. She continued to scream at me that she would not give me back anything and to leave. I left the office and to my dismay when I turned back the covers on the bed, found blood on the sheets and after examining the sheets, it appeared they had not been changed. I went back and the husband, then took care of things, stating it was a stain on the sheets but if I insisted he would change the sheets, which he did. We then were wanting to use the hideabed, and when we opened this up it was full of chips and dirt and totally rusted with a dirty mattress. I think we could have lived with a couple of complications, but based on the customer care and hospitality, this entire experience was negative. No Hospitalieter should ever talk to guest in this manner and one would think, someone in this profession would care enough to be more considerate towards their guests.
