We arrived late but Scott was there to greet us the instant we pulled in. Cottage was beautiful...luxurious actually. It was dark at night but the morning view was amazing. Cottage right in-front of the water, all amenities we could think of ALL PRIVATE too, met amazing people, who might we add have gone up there for 18 years and going strong, and service like VIPs!!! Scott, we'll definitely be back!! We loved it! Andrew & Catherine

Positives: - Private Dock Patio
- Private Fire Pit
- Private Deck with bench and BBQ
- Firewood included but they DELIVER!!!
- Kitchen better then home with a living room with large windows looking over the water and Sandbanks
- Beds were so comfortable
- CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN everywhere

Negatives: *NOTE* if you have a Garmin GPS it does not find the address, either check the website (www.westlakewillows.com) for co-ordinates or substitute "County Road 12" to "CR-12"

Please ignore my Ratings.

I am the proprietor of West Lake Willows Resort. Although I recognize I can't please everyone and everyone is entitled to their option. The above customers are one and the same and after several stays at our property were denied a reservation in April of 2010 due to our past experiences with them. After denying their booking I was given a profanity laced tongue lashing ending in a vow to defame our name online.

I could share my experiences with this customer but will chose not to.

Beautiful location; however, poor customer services & poor accomodations (a lot of problems with trailers). Staff is very unavailable to respond to concerns/complaints & even when you contact them -- they don't follow through. Also, staff proceeded to do renovations in front of my rental trailer in summer: very incosiderate & noisy. What kind of vacation is that? Have some "backup staff" available when owner is not there to address your concerns - but the "backup staff person" is elderly & somewhat incompetent. He doesn't relay your complaints/issues to owner, as he often "forgets" and he often says that he can't help you & that you must contact the "Big Honcho" (owner of the park) instead. How frustrating is this?! If you don't mind paying this place's inflated prices $$$ to rent a trailer/week ($800-1500) & you can put up with lousy accomodations & poor customer service -- this is the place for you!!! Cable did did not work correctly. When we notified staff we're ignored. Constant toilet problems on a daily basis. staff full of excuses.

Positives: Stay in picton instead and pay for park access.

Negatives: Poor plumbing.
Uncaring staff.
Good location no excuse for poor accomodations.

Gee, I wonder who posted the last posting giving West Lake Willows 10/10 on everything!......sounds a little overinflated. I think I have a good idea who wrote this posting...Anyways, I have stayed there renting one of their trailers & I definitely wouldn't recommend it. The only thing going for them is that there location is great -- everything else just didn't measure up.

Positives: Beautiful location.

Negatives: -Expensive.
-Not very clean.
-Constant toilet/plumbing problems.
-Very poor customer service: staff usually not available to talk to, ignore your complaints or are clueless as to how to help you.
-TV and/or cable not working.
-Internet service not working.
-Kettle, microwave,....etc. etc. not working.
-Door on trailer doesn't lock properly.
