If you like "community camping", then you'll love this place. Every campsite is closely squeezed together to the next and you are unable to have ANY conversation without your neighbour hearing you. I understand camping is a social time for friends and family to stay up late and enjoy lots of laughter, however, at 1 a.m., it’s inconsiderate to continue to party loudly. (There was one camper who continually beat a drum just to get all the dogs on the site barking -- thinking it was funny -- and there was NO RANGER on duty to help ensure rules were adhered to at that time of night.) The only way I can see this site being good, is if you and a few friends/family all rented a row of adjoining sites (and I DO mean "adjoining!") and went as a group. Then, perhaps it would feel less intrusive to have your neighbour practically in your tent. I will never stay at Meaford Memorial Park again, nor will I recommend it to anyone.
