Quick check in and out - breakfast that was included was decent, comfortable room, clean.

Positives: By the water.

Driving up to the hotel you would have no idea it's a Quality Inn. There was only one sign on the street, none in front of the hotel, making it a little difficult to find. It was a quiet room with a beautiful view. It's a nonsmoking hotel, but guests are allowed to smoke on room balconies. Sometimes the smoke would waft over to my balcony, even into my room. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Negatives: Decor was a little tacky.

The hotel was clean and very welcoming. The staff very friendly and the view spectacular. A great weekend romantic get away.

Nice rooms, awesome views of the water and sunrise. Pool and beach areas for kids to explore when the tide is out. Dining room looks out over the water, superb!

It was easy to get to, quiet and conservative with an adequate pool and hot tub.

Positives: I wasn't there much, but I liked the fact it was quiet and they seemed to enforce that policy.

Negatives: They did not have any herbal tea in the coffee/tea basket.

It's a fine place en route to a better destination. Adequate, clean. Front rooms have a great view.

Positives: Staff directed us to a great restaurant nearby.

Negatives: We were on the backside looking at the parking lot.

Starting at Nanaimo Airport From Victoria or Nanaimo (Southern or Central Vancouver Island), follow Highway 19 North to Parksville. Exit at 19A and go north through Parksville, turning right on Dogwood Street and then turn right into the hotel parking lot. From Campbell River or Comox (Northern Vancouver Island), follow Highway 19 South to Parksville, exit east on 4A, turning left on 19A, then right on Dogwood Street and then turn right into the hotel parking lot.
