There were demonstrators beating on drums which was annoying in my room. The sounds traveled to my room as I overlooked the side entrance

Positives: I liked the location

Negatives: the bathtub appeared dirty because it is worn.

We found the hotel lobby to be clean, the room and amenities all to meet our expectation and reasonably priced.

Positives: The convenience of the location to all major businesses, University, and attractions.

Negatives: Less than ideal underground parking that is at best dangerous to maneuver.

Although not located in the heart of Downtown Toronto, the hotel is conveniently adjacent to a TTC subway station (St. George). It is close to many restaurants along Bloor. The free WIFI is good for business travelers as it is not slow. There is some noise at night, but it is not a big issue. Generally a good hotel and staff are friendly and helpful.

Positives: Free internet.

Negatives: No fitness facility.

This hotel was perfectly adequate and really convenient for the university. The room was just fine but it was not ready when they said it was going to be.

Positives: Public rooms small and inconvenient.

Negatives: Dining room was a pub, not very clean-close to the university.

The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our room seemed recently updated, was very modern and spacious. There is a restaurant onsite and possibly night club in evening however we did not utilize either due to quick stay. Would stay again for sure.

Positives: Room were very nice and spacious seemed recently up dated. Wonderful onsite underground parking.

Negatives: We only stayed 1 night and did not come across anything we did not like.

Older building but very clean. Great for business travelers.

Positives: Convenient location and very clean place to stay.

Negatives: Small room, poor street view, off site swimming pool, and not entirely friendly staff.

Good place to stay.

Positives: Room was nice; restaurant was excellent. Try the SteamWhistle micro brewed beer!

Negatives: Parking is $22 per night. Parking for patrons should be FREE!

Good location and<BR/>friendly staff. Near to U of Toronto, Chinatown and Korea Town is well worth the walk. They provide free newspaper in the AM which I really liked. I could not hear the person in the room next to me so that was nice. I liked the range of channels on the television.

Positives: Location was good. Reliable quality at the Holiday Inn. Could not hear the other guests, it was quiet.

Negatives: A bit boring in terms of the room because it is a chain.

Okay to stay at, good quality, price. For a short stay it is perfect, easy access to all activities downtown.

Positives: Perfect location for business, good price.

Negatives: Cleaning staff came too early in the morning, I was not ready, I asked them to come back.

The overall state of the hotel was very good. We did have issues overnight with noise and doors opening and closing with young people staying there on our floor. We did not get any sleep! We did call a couple of times in the night, but to no avail.

Positives: The lobby was very nice and the location was excellent.

Negatives: Overnight was sleepless, due to young people renting rooms on the same floor and they were up all night being very loud and in and out of each others.

For a three star hotel, the Holiday Inn was excellent and well located, mid-town. The staff were courteous and very helpful.

Positives: Internet availability with no charge!

Negatives: Can't think of anything.

This hotel is in a very high-end area in Toronto but it certainly is not a high-end hotel. At best I would consider it a 2-star hotel. It wasn't very clean, the bathroom had mold on the walls and the tub was literally filthy. I would only recommend this hotel for its location.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: It was quite dirty with mold on the walls and dead bugs on the floor.

This hotel was at best a 2 star hotel; it did not give me what I was looking for. Great place for students and very young travelers in which it seemed to accommodate very well. For the most part the price-line price was not that much better then the hotels own price, I would have paid more money to have stayed in a true 3 star hotel.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Was not what I expected, I expected a 3 star upscale hotel.

My partner got sick from the room service! We had nachos. I had a grilled cheese and he had a steak sandwich (which I didn't eat). It was food poisoning in the end according to a clinic. The place lacked charm (then again, it is a holiday inn!). To stay and chill in your hotel, this is not the one to do it in: to sleep, sure.

Positives: Location was good. Right on the Bloor Subway line.

Negatives: No charm! Nothing.

We felt we overpaid for this room. It is not comparable to other 3 star hotels in the downtown area, the majority of the hotel is smoking and even though it had been cleaned the smell was still everywhere. We left very early the next morning.

Positives: Parking was cheap; staff was very friendly, very close to subway.

Negatives: Was not a 3 star standard 2 at most, only had smoking rooms which were disgusting even though cleaned.

This hotel was surprisingly good. It was close to downtown (About 10 minute walk from Eaton Center). It had free wireless internet. Underground Parking was only 15 bucks a day with in and out privileges. It was a nice Relax Environment. Not a lot of people hanging out in the main lobby. It also had a nice restaurant in it that gave great room service. The only complaints about the hotel were that it did not have a business center. It also did not have a pool. It had an exercise facility but it had much to be desired. Also no in room mini bar. Out side of this the Hotel was great. Would definitely go back again.

Positives: I liked that while not in the heart of downtown it was still in walking distance to it.

Negatives: No Pool, and it had no mini fridge.

The individual room with full bed in which I stayed was much larger than other downtown Toronto hotels. The staff was knowledgeable about the surrounding area and was able to give directions. They were also courteous to a fault. In all I will come back whenever I am in Toronto.

Positives: Much better than comparable hotels in the area. Good value for its price.

Negatives: Nothing to say.

Hotel itself is very clean and nice. The staff was not very friendly but did help in setting us up with how to get downtown. The hotel was quiet with not a lot of extra amenities. Overall, this hotel was exactly what it says, a two star hotel.

Positives: I enjoyed how quiet it was.

Negatives: It was too far away from everything, but easy access to subway.
