Blinkers B&B, Elora, Ontario

Blinkers B&B is located over the footbridge just one block from Mill Street in beautiful downtown Elora. It was named after the original building which was constructed in 1867 as a harness shop, hence "Blinkers". This vintage century building was converted and renovated into a three-story family home several years ago. Tina and Bill Clark are your hosts. Their living quarters are in the rear and completely separate from the guest accommodations. In effect visitors have the run of the house. Tina, a graduate in hotel management, serves a full breakfast either in the comfortable island in the kitchen or in the adjacent formal dining room. Blinkers has two guest bedrooms on the second floor, both with queen sized beds, one with en suite bath and the other shares a large tiled bathroom, double sinks and large tub with a charming third floor double bedroom accessed by spiral staircase. Smoking is allowed on the private outside porch off the second floor and children are welcome. Rates: $50-$75.00.
