this place is a complete joke!!!! I noticed that rules only apply to certain people in the place...you have people who use double lots and are only paying for 1 lot and are never told...they also have multiple vehicles on their site when its suppose to be 1 vehicle per site...other people are told to move their second vehicle off site...certain people get to do what ever they want and nothing ever is said to them but others...if they breath to loud they get told...STAFF is very rude...maintnance guy doesn't know very much at all...and when asked about anything they brush you off as if you're bothering them...they got there money they don't care...and they tell you if you don't like it then leave..worst place to ever stay....they need to take a course in communication and how to treat people with respect. they have a childrens centre but it's only open monday to friday nothing for the kids on weekends and the activity director is garbage she excludes all younger and smaller children she just catters to the older ones..

Positives: very nice people there but that has nothing to do the the place it self...

Negatives: EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!

worst customer service I ever seen. The front desk reception is very rude and unfriendly, and told us to leave if we don't feel happy about its service. The facility is very old. never will go back again.

This place is basically a run-down dump. It is highly over-rated. The cottage we stayed in was decent enough, but we had problems with our toilet from the start. when we inquired about it, they blew us off. we had people who came to visit us for 2 hours and they were charged a ridiculous amount. the pool was like ice water, and the tennis courts were pads of asphalt with droopy nets. the beach - what beach? it's so teeny tiny and full of seaweed. definately expected more for the cost. staff was unfriendly and not at all helpful. will NEVER visit here again.

Positives: location on the lake was nice

Negatives: too many to list - pool icy, tennis courts a mess, broken toilet, terrible beach, unfriendly staff, no compensation for problems, ....

We were treated very nicely until we checked in. After that, we were spoken to in a very rude manner. None of our concerns were taken seriously. My children were also falsely accused of vandalism. After we told the staff who the real culprits were, they told us to "stop lying to ourselves and admit the truth". I was appauled! After that We were afraid to let our kids out of our sight. I would not recommend this place to anyone with young children. This is a retirement community.

Positives: The Location is the only positive. Rice lake is beautiful.

Negatives: The staff, the staff, the owners the owners. They make the experience what it is.

Absolutely the worst camping experience ever! This resort to is a "retirement community". Absolutely not for children or young families. Children are frowned upon and told to not make any noise. How can children not make noise??? Our children were falsely accused of vandalism, when the facilities are poorly maintaned. The public showers are filthy, moldy and full of fungus. The poor and especially the wading are of poor quality. When we complained of this, we were told "We're looking into it". But , that was the same story for the entired season.

Poor customer service, poor facilities maintence, and too many hidden costs.
