The staff was pleasant and helpful. It was a typical hotel with a typical room and bath. The hallway carpeting needs to be replaced, it smells a bit. No frills but adequate. Breakfast in the small .....

Positives: It's located within a short walk to Vieux Montreal, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the stages for the summer festivals.

Negatives: The hotel's client parking was behind the hotel in a questionable area and many cars get broken into. We worried about our car being targeted.

If you are looking for a great hotel near the heart of Montreal's night life and you are on a tight budget this is the place for you.

The 3 star rating is totally bogus - I would say this hotel might be a 2 star. The bathroom was clean, but the carpets suspect. They have taken out the light bulbs in the hall lamps, using 1 instead .....
