Clyde River is a settlement in Prince Edward Island. Clyde River is located in Queen’s County in the central part of Prince Edward Island and just 15 minutes away from the Charlottetown. The original community name was Dog River (Changed to Clyde River somewhere around 1864). It was named after the River Clyde in Scotland. Heritage is predominantly Scottish and English.

Hyde Away House
Come sit and enjoy our panoramic view of the West River. Sip your morning coffee on the East deck or in the gazebo. Our home was built in 1905 by Fred Hyde. We have made many updates but have not taken away from the original victorian character. A soak in the victorian tub will attest to that.We have two rooms available one with a queen bed and the other with two single beds.
